Throughout May and June, the Detroit Historical Society is seeking Black-owned businesses to highlight for "The Hustle." The Hustle is their latest initiative to "celebrate the unsung innovators in our community and showcase the passion and potential."
Nominations are open to the public. Businesses must be Black-owned and operate a brick-and-mortar location within Detroit city limits. All nominees will be recognized even if they aren't chosen for the exhibit.
