Capital Readiness: Mapping your Money Needs

This workshop is designed to equip business owners with the knowledge and tools to navigate their capital journey. By mapping milestones interactively, learning from educational presentations about mapping their capital and intentionally networking with key players in the capital ecosystem, participants will walk away with newfound insights into sources of capital, planning for growth and building the relationships that will help their businesses thrive. Join us to understand how to align your financial milestones with available funding options and create a roadmap for sustainable success!

Learning Objectives:

1. Receive in-depth knowledge of the stages of capital needs in different instances of business development

2. Coaching the participants in plotting one-, three- and five-year growth milestones and their relevant capital sources.

3. Instruct participants on the different types of capital-equity, debt and grants, and how to access them in a strategic manner that will facilitate the growth of their businesses

4. Have participants network with each other, representatives from institutions of capital and ecosystem partners

5. Allow the small business owners to connect with the experts and investigate additional resources within the Metro Detroit entrepreneurial ecosystem
